Police Appeal for Missing Galston Man

Ayrshire Police Division are appealing for the assistance of the public in trying to locate a man missing from Galston in East Ayrshire.

Nathan Strachan (25) was last seen in Galston around 1.30pm on Sunday 29 September 2019 and was reported missing to police the following day.

Police have described Nathan as white, around 6ft 2ins tall with an athletic build. It is unknown what he was wearing at this time. Nathan has links to the North Yorkshire area.

Local Inspector Derek McMurdo said “Enquires are well underway but we are now seeking the assistance of the public to help us locate Nathan.

“Nathan could have used public transport, possibly the rail network, to travel to Ayrshire. I would ask anyone with information, or who has seen Nathan since this time, to contact us.

“I would also want to issue a personal request to Nathan to attend at a local police station or to contact one of his friends or family so that we can ensure he is safe and well.”
