Ayrshire Police Division are dealing with the third serious robbery within the Three Towns area in the space of just a week as masked men rob an Ardrossan house.
The incident took place at a house in Kirkhall Gardens, Ardrossan on Tuesday 22 October 2019 as four or five masked men forced their way into the property.
Shockingly, they then threatened an 11-year-old girl before making off with cash, jewellery and personal items from the house. They were last seen getting into a dark coloured saloon type car. The girl was physically uninjured however left in a very distressed state.
Detective Inspector Mick Carr at Saltcoats CID said: “This was a horrific experience for anyone to endure never mind a young girl and therefore it is vital that we trace the persons responsible.
“I’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen the group of men hanging around the area prior to the robbery taking place or anyone who may have seen them fleeing the scene in a dark coloured saloon car.
“If anyone was passing Kirkhall Gardens around this time and has dash cam footage then I urge them also to contact police immediately.”
