Scottish Premiership

Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren – Kilmarnock have maintained their recent run of form with a hard fought 1-0 home win this afternoon. For the second week running, captain Gary Dicker scored, this time with a header following a 78th minute corner. The result takes Killie up to 3rd in the table temporarily, with the other 4 of the top 5 teams playing on Sunday. The momentum is with Angelo Alessio’s men at the moment, how long can they keep this run of form going?

The rest of the Scottish Premiership results this afternoon: Hibs 2-2 Ross County, Livingston 0-0 Hearts, St Johnstone 3-2 Hamilton.

Scottish Championship

Ayr United 1-2 Dundee – Mark Kerr failed to win on his managerial debut as Ayr were beaten at home by Dundee as the match was screened live on the BBC on Friday night. Former Ayr winger Declan McDaid’s strike and a Paul McGowan goal was enough to beat the Honest Men, despite a Luke McCowan header before half-time. Despite the loss, Ayr remain in second place in the Championship.
