The A77 will be closed southbound between the Bellfield Interchange and Symington for three nights this week.
This will only impact traffic heading towards Prestwick and Ayr, with northbound traffic towards Fenwick and Glasgow unaffected.
The main route will close at 8pm on Thursday 10th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2019, opening at 6am the following morning each time. There will be no closures during the day.
As a result, traffic will be diverted and Stagecoach have reported diversions to services 4, X16, X77 and X77N.
During the closure service 4 will divert from B7038 Ayr Road, Kilmarnock to the normal route from Symington. The last service X16 trip will divert from B7038 Ayr Road, Kilmarnock via Symington to the normal route from Hansel Village.
Services X77 and X77N will divert at the Bellfield Roundabout, Kilmarnock via A71 to Irvine and A78 to the normal route at Prestwick Airport.
The bus stops southbound before, at and after Bogend Toll (6190967, 6190201 and 6190969) will not be served during the closures and the X77 and X77N will not serve Hansel Village (6190203) southbound (towards Ayr) during the closures.
